Option Disable Remote Control of KVM Opt-in Policy Enable Remote Control of KVM Opt-in Policy Description Disables the remote user's ability to select User OPT-IN Policy. In this case only the local user can control the opt-in policy. Enables remote user's ability to select User OPT-IN Policy. Previous Menu Under the User Consent Configuration page select Previous Menu and press . The Intel AMT Configuration page appears. Password Policy Under the Intel AMT Configuration page select Password Policy and press . This option determines when the user is allowed to change the Intel MEBx password through the network. There are two passwords for the firmware. The Intel MEBx password is the password that is entered when a user is physically at the system. The network password is the password that is entered when accessing an Intel ME enabled system through the network. NOTE: By default they are both the same until the network password is changed via the network. Once changed over the network, the network password will always be kept separate from the local Intel MEBx password. This option determines when the user is allowed to change the Intel MEBx password through the network. NOTE: The Intel MEBx password can be changed via the Intel MEBx user interface.
