Removing a Floppy Drive 1. Disconnect the power and data cables from the CD/DVD drive located above the floppy drive. 2. Disconnect the power and floppy-drive cables from the back of the floppy drive. 3. Disconnect the floppy-drive cable from the system board connector (labeled DSKT).
