storm-control broadcast Use the storm-control broadcast command in Interface Configuration mode to enable broadcast storm recovery mode for a specific interface. If the mode is enabled, broadcast storm recovery is active, and if the rate of L2 broadcast traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped. Therefore, the rate of broadcast traffic will be limited to the configured threshold. Syntax storm-control broadcast [level | rate] no storm-control broadcast • level- The configured rate as a percentage of link-speed. • rate - The configured rate in kilobits per second (kbps). (Range: 0-100) Default Configuration The default value is 5. Command Mode Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode User Guidelines This command has no user guidelines. Example console(config-if-1/g1)#storm-control broadcast level 5 storm-control multicast Use the storm-control multicast command in Interface Configuration mode to enable multicast storm recovery mode for an interface. If the mode is enabled, multicast storm recovery is active, and if the rate of L2 multicast traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped.
