Dell Shield • Removing the Dell shield • Replacing the Dell shield Removing the Dell Shield 1 Turn off the computer and devices, disconnect them from their electrical outlets, wait at least 10 to 20 seconds, lay the computer on its right side, and open the computer cover. 2 Remove the front panel. 3 Lay the front panel down with the inside of the panel facing up. 4 Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the shield from the inside of the front panel. 5 Pull the shield down and push it away from you, through the front of the front panel.
