Print ID Purpose: To specify a location where the user ID is printed. Values: Off* Top Left Top Right Bottom Left Bottom Right Does not print the user ID. Prints the user ID on the top left of the page. Prints the user ID on the top right of the page. Prints the user ID on the bottom left of the page. Prints the user ID on the bottom right of the page. NOTE: When printing on DL size paper, a part of the user ID may not be printed correctly. Print Text Purpose: To specify whether the printer outputs PDL (Page Description Language) data, which is not supported by the printer, as text when the printer receives it. Text data is printed on A4 or Letter size paper. Values: Off Does not print the received data. On* Prints the received data as text data. Banner Sheet Purpose: To specify the position of banner sheet, and also specify the tray in which the banner sheet is loaded. Values: Insert Position Off* Does not print the banner sheet. Front Inserted before the first page of every copy. Back Inserted after the last page of every copy. Front & Back Inserted before the first page of every copy and after the last page of every copy. Specify Tray MPF Tray 1* Tray 2*1 The banner sheet is loaded in the MPF. The banner sheet is loaded in tray1. The banner sheet is loaded in the optional 550-sheet feeder. *1 This item is available only when the optional 550-sheet feeder is installed. RAM Disk Purpose: To allocate memory to the RAM disk file system for the Secure Print, Private Mail Box Print, Public Mail Box Print, and Proof Print features. The change becomes effective after the printer is turned off and then on again. Values: Off Does not allocate memory to the RAM disk file system. Secure Print, Private Mail Box Print, Public Mail Box Print, and Proof Print jobs will abort and be recorded to the job log. 156 Understanding the Printer Menus
