Customizing DYMO Label 3. Click Browse next to the Default label file folder box. The Browse For Folder dialog box appears. 4. Navigate to and select the folder to use as your default folder, and then click OK. 5. Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box and apply your changes. To change the default Address Book folder 1. Do one of the following: l For Windows, choose Preferences from the Edit menu. l For Mac, choose Preferences from the DYMO Label menu. 2. Select the Folders tab. 3. Click Browse next to the Default Address Book folder box. The Browse For Folder dialog box appears. 4. Navigate to and select the folder to use as your default folder, and then click OK. 5. Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box and apply your changes. Setting Other Options DYMO Label software includes various options for customizing the software. You can customize the software in the following ways: n Suppress the File Save Prompt n Suppress the Check Label Size Warning n Set the Paste Button to Automatically Print Suppressing the File Save Prompt By default, DYMO Label software displays a prompt asking if you want to save changes to a modified label when you attempt to open another label or exit from the program. However, if you prefer not to be prompted to save changes, you can choose to suppress the prompt. To suppress the "File save" prompt 1. Do one of the following: l For Windows, choose Preferences from the Edit menu. l For Mac, choose Preferences from the DYMO Label menu. 2. Select the Functional tab. 3. Under Options, select the Suppress "File save" prompt check box. 4. Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box and apply your changes. Suppressing the Check Label Size Warning DYMO Label software remembers the last label size that you printed on a specific printer. If the selected label type does not match the last label type printed to the selected printer, appears on the Print button. By default, when you attempt to print to a new label size, a confirmation dialog box appears asking you to make sure that you have the appropriate labels loaded in the printer before printing.
