Installing on a Standalone or Print Server System Before you begin installing the StylusRIP software, check that the StylusRIP Disk 1 diskette is not write-protected. Do not copy the diskette; you must use the original in the steps below. 1. Turn on your printer. Then restart your Macintosh with all extensions turned off except your CD-ROM drive. 2. Insert the StylusRIP Disk 1 diskette in a diskette drive and the StylusRIP CD-ROM in a CD-ROM drive. Note: Double-click the README icon to read the latest information on the StylusRIP software and check for any additional installation steps. 3. Double-click the Installer icon in the Disk1 window. 4. Close the Chooser and restart your Macintosh.
Now follow the instructions in the next section to install the
StylusRIP software.
Installing on a Standalone or Print Server
System
Before you begin installing the StylusRIP software, check that
the StylusRIP Disk 1 diskette is not write-protected.
Do not
copy the diskette; you must use the original in the steps
below
.
1.
Turn on your printer. Then restart your Macintosh with all
extensions turned off except your CD-ROM drive.
2.
Insert the StylusRIP Disk 1 diskette in a diskette drive and
the StylusRIP CD-ROM in a CD-ROM drive.
Note:
Double-click the README icon to read the latest information
on the StylusRIP software and check for any additional
installation steps.

Double-click the
Installer
icon in the
Disk1
window.

At the title screen, click
Continue
