Therefore, note the following: Cleaning : If mispicks occur frequently, clean the Pad and Pick roller in accordance with the "Cleaning and Maintenance" manual. Replacement of parts :The life of the Pad and Pick roller may be shorter than if PPC paper documents are fed. • The leading edge of all documents fed using the ADF should be straightened so the curl of the paper meets the specifications shown below: More than 30mm Feed direction More than 30mm Feed direction Less than 3mm Top of the paper Read surface Less than 5mm Top of the paper Read surface • To prevent roller smudging, avoid scanning a document filled out in a pencil.
