■ If you are connecting two PATA drives to the cable, connect the middle cable connector to the slave drive and connect the end cable connector to the master (boot) drive. ■ You may need to configure the drives you install using the BIOS Setup utility. Press F2 at startup to open the BIOS Setup utility.
