15 Getting started Getting started Getting to know the Home screen Essential features that you need from your phone are right upfront on the Home screen. It comes with a weather clock widget that shows the time and weather in your current location. And when you slide your finger to the extended Home screen, you'll see more of your stuff such as your new messages, favorite contacts, shortcuts, and more. At any time, you can design the Home screen to fit your style. To find out how, see the Personalizing chapter. Main Home screen On the main Home screen, you can check the time, date, and weather of your current location, access the main menu where all applications are stored, and other frequently used applications. 1 2 3 4 5 1 Status bar.
