Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
TI zones become disabled when Telnet times out following TI zone
change.
Cfgsave
actually pushes the data, but should not do so, as
due to session timeout, stale transaction is not properly terminated before
processing new TI zone, which can result in erroneous TI zone properties
list and lead to other fabric wide instability events.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
After a switch reboot with HP Storageworks 8 Gb SAN switches,
switchshow
shows all online port PIDs as being the same due to port
to area map issue. Occurs when upgrading from Fabric OS 6.1 to 6.2
to 6.3 only.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Disable
ErrLog
and Port Fencing
(using the
fwconfigure
command)
in the threshold alarm matrix
configuration for all port related
thresholds. This prevents the
problem-causing functions from
being called.
If Fabric Watch
fwalarms
is turned off and
Errlog
is turned on,
fabric watch daemon can crash causing a switch panic.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
Executing
configdownload
on HP StorageWorks DC SAN director
10/24 FCoE blade when configured in Virtual Fabric environment, can
cause an hafailover and reboot to occur due to FCoE login group
management configuration getting uploaded to logical switches other
than the default switch.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
In a very rare occurrence, HP StorageWorks 1606 Extension SAN
switch panic occurred and FCIP I/O stopped during 4 Gb tunnel stress
testing.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
Operation and Network Maintenance Daemon (ONMD) crashed when
links were coming up, as a result of saving the configuration with LLDP
disabled on HP StorageWorks 2408 FCoE switch or 10/24 FCoE
blade.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
Enabled the F_Port trunk on HP StorageWorks DC SAN director in non-
Virtual Fabric mode, then enabled the Dynamic Area Addressing (DAA)
mode. This led to the Trunk area being disabled. Can occur on any
switch supporting F_Port trunking and DAA.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
No cascaded FICON CUP connectivity on 4/256 director with 8 Gb
blade when E_Port and F_Port are on different ASICs on the blade.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
Fabric daemon panicked due to shared memory corruption during lo-
gical switch creation/deletion test loop on 8Gb switch.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
On HP StorageWorks 1606 Extension SAN switch, no NPIV devices
(including Access Gateway) can log into ports 0 - 3 of multi-protocol
router blade or 400 MP router. Error message occurs stating NPIV not
supported on Fabric port, although NPIV is enabled on the 1606 ports.
No problem logging into ports 4 - 31.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.1
Switch is not accessible via Web Tools after firmware upgrade from
Fabric OS 6.2.x to Fabric OS 6.3.x. Web Tools cannot be accessed
via name or across a Network Address Translation (NAT) network
connection.
