In very rare instances, this setting may interfere with the product recognizing tones sent from a telephone. For example, the product may not recognize your password when you enter it on a telephone at a remote location to begin retrieving a fax remotely. Or, the product may not begin receiving a fax after you have pressed *** on an extension phone.
