Controller Node PCIe Slots and Ports Table 1 (page 11) describes default configurations for the HP 3PAR StoreServ 7450 Storage system: Table 1 Storage System Expansion Cards Expansion cards 2 FC HBAs only 2 10 Gb/s converged network adapter (CNA) only 2 FC HBAs + 2 10 Gb/s CNAs Nodes 0 and 1 1 FC HBA each 1 10 Gb/s CNA each 1 FC HBA each Nodes 2 and 3 No expansion card No expansion card 1 10 Gb/s CNA each NOTE: If you are upgrading from a two-node to a four-node configuration, you can have CNAs installed in node 0 and node 1, and FC HBAs installed in node 2 and node 3.
