9. Use the straps provided in the kit to secure all fiber and Ethernet cables. Securing the cables prevents any improper disconnection or damages during operation. 10. Connect the power cord to the facility power source. Do not power on the SP at this time. WARNING! To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to the equipment: • Do not disable the power cord grounding plug. The grounding plug is an important safety feature. • Plug the power cord into a grounded (earthed) electrical outlet where it is accessible at all times. • Unplug the power cord from the power supply to disconnect power to the equipment. • Do not route the power cord through a walkway area or adjacent to other hardware components that may pinch or damage the cord.
