force is always applied to the cassette separation roller, so the weak rotational force of the pickup roller is not enough to rotate the separation roller. Therefore, the separation roller holds back any multiplefed sheets, and one sheet of paper is fed into the product. The DC controller rotates the pickup motor when it receives a print command from the formatter. 2. As the MP tray pickup solenoid is driven, the MP tray pickup roller rotates and the lifting plate moves up. 3. The MP tray pickup roller picks up the paper. 4.
