Display panel Description 13.3-in, LED, BrightView SVA display panel Spare part number 672350-001 Before removing the display panel, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the base enclosure screws (see Base enclosure on page 25). 5. Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 26). 6. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 28). 7. Disconnect the battery cable (see Battery on page 32). Remove the display panel: 1. Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you. 2. Open the computer. 3. Disconnect the display panel cable from the system board (1). 4. Disconnect the USB/Audio board cable from the system board (2). 5. Disconnect the #1 and #2 WLAN antenna cables from the WLAN module (3). NOTE: The #1 WLAN antenna cable is connected to the WLAN module #1 terminal. Before removing the display panel, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the base enclosure screws (see

5.
Remove the keyboard (see

).
6.
Remove the top cover (see

).
7.
Disconnect the battery cable (see

).
Remove the display panel:
1.
Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
2.
Open the computer.
3.
Disconnect the display panel cable from the system board

4.
Disconnect the USB/Audio board cable from the system board
(2)

5.
Disconnect the #1 and #2 WLAN antenna cables from the WLAN module

NOTE:
The #1 WLAN antenna cable is connected to the WLAN module #1 terminal. The #2
WLAN antenna cable is connected to the WLAN module #2 terminal. For more information, see
