Troubleshooting Flowchart 2.13-No OS Loading, Diskette Drive OS not loading from diskette drive. Y Reseat diskette drive. OS loading? Done N Y Nonsystem disk message? N N Bootable diskette in drive? Install bootable diskette and reboot computer. Y N Boot from another device? Y N Diskette drive enabled in the Setup utility? Y Y Is diskette drive boot order correct? N Go to "Flowchart 2.17-Nonfunction ing Device." Enable drive and cold boot computer. Check diskette for system files. Try different diskette. Y Nonsystem disk error? N Y Replace the following components individually, retesting after each replacement: ■ Diskette drive Reset the computer. Refer to OS loading? Done Section 1.2, "Resetting the N Computer," for instructions. Change boot priority using the Setup utility. Go to "Flowchart 2.17-Nonfunctioning Device." Maintenance and Service Guide 2-19
