delete host Description Deletes a manually created host. Does not delete hosts that were discovered or are mapped. Before you can delete a manually created host that is mapped, you must unmap it. To change or remove the nickname or profile of a manually created host, use the set host-name command. Syntax delete host host Parameters host The ID or nickname of the host. Example Delete the manually created host MyHost: # delete host MyHost Info: Command completed successfully. - Host MyHost was deleted. Try to delete the mapped host Host1: # delete host Host1 Error: The specified host is mapped to one or more volumes so the host was not deleted. (Host1) - Host Host1 is mapped, so it cannot be deleted. Error: The specified host is mapped to one or more volumes so the host was not deleted. Try to delete the discovered host 500605B000320BB4: # delete host 500605B000320BB4 Error: The command had an invalid value. (257000c0ffd8b6cb) - Host 257000c0ffd8b6cb was discovered, so it cannot be deleted. Error: The command had an invalid value.
