Chapter 6 Capacity Expansion III. Disable Virtual Sizing The only other requirement for online capacity expansion of your logical drive is that Virtual Sizing is disabled. This is the factory default setting. • If Virtual Sizing is Disabled (the factory default setting), no other preparation is necessary. • If Virtual Sizing is Enabled, disable Virtual Sizing in HP NetRAID Express Tools, as described below. Choose Adapter from the Tools Management menu. b. Choose the adapter controlling the logical drive. 4. Choose Objects from the Tools Management menu. 5. Choose Logical Drive from the Objects menu. 6. From the Logical Drives menu, choose the logical drive you want to prepare for expansion. 119

III. Disable Virtual Sizing
The only other requirement for online capacity expansion of your logical drive is
that Virtual Sizing is disabled. This is the factory default setting.
If Virtual Sizing is Disabled

If Virtual Sizing is Enabled
