RTC battery, Remove the Phillips PM2.0×4.6 screw

1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the power button board cable is attached, then disconnect the power button board cable from the audio/USB board. 2. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×4.6 screw (2) that secures the power button board to the base enclosure. 3. Release the power button board (3) by sliding it forward. 4. Remove the power button board (4). Reverse this procedure to install the power button board. RTC battery Description RTC battery (includes cable and double-sided adhesive) Spare part number 691572-001 Before removing the RTC battery, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the keyboard/top cover (see Keyboard/top cover on page 34). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 42). 6. Remove the audio/USB board (see Audio/USB board on page 46).
