Heat sink To remove the heat sink, use this procedure and illustration. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 29). 3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 31). Remove the heat sink: 1. Remove the foam pad from the system board (1). 2. In the order indicated on the heat sink, remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (2) that secure the heat sink to the system board. 3.
