7. If it is necessary to replace the display hinges, remove the display panel by removing the two Torx M2.0×6.0 screws (1) that secure the panel to the top of the display enclosure, and then remove the four Torx M2.0×6.0 screws (2) located at the hinge arms. This will allow the panel to be lifted from the enclosure. 8. Remove the eight Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (1) that secure the display hinges to the display panel, and then remove the display hinges (2). The left and right display hinges are available in the Display Hinge Kit, spare part number 602677-001 for computers with 17.3-in displays. 9. If it is necessary to replace the display cable, turn the display panel upside-down and remove the microphone (1) and the microphone cable (2) from the cable routing area. then disconnect the cable from the connector on the back of the display panel (2). 84 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures
