3 Troubleshooting Your PC If Your PC Has a Hardware Problem Other Display Problems If the display image is not aligned with the screen, use the display's controls to center the image (refer to the display manual for instructions). Check your display manual to find out which refresh rate is required. Use your operating system's display control panel to select the correct refresh rate. If Your Keyboard Does Not Work • Check that the keyboard is correctly connected to the PC (check that you have not used the mouse connector by mistake). • Check that no keys are stuck on the keyboard. If a key is stuck, release it by gently nudging it with your finger. • Check that no liquids have been spilled on the keyboard. If this is the case, get your keyboard repaired or replace it.
