3. Reassembly of the deceleration mechanism (1) Apply appropriate amounts of grease (Hitachi Motor Grease No. 29) to the engaging surfaces of gears and the Ring Gear [12] surface that contacts Steel Ball D5 [10]. (2) Fit Steel Ball D5 [10], Ring Gear [12], Carrier [13], Planet Gear (C) Set [18], and all other parts sequentially into Gear Case [9] as shown in the figure below. x Be careful to correctly orient Ring Gear [12], Carrier [13], Pinion (C) [15], Slide Ring Gear [20], Shift Arm [11], and Pinion (B) [22] as shown in the figure below.
