Make sure that the U-shaped groove of Pushing Button (A) [32] is correctly fitted onto the projection on the forward/reverse changeover lever of DC-Speed Control Switch [35]. (4) Mount Controller (B) [36] in Housing (A). (B)Set [29] while fitting the convex and concave features of Controller (B) [36] into and onto the concave and convex features of Housing (A). (B)Set [29], respectively. Install the wires connecting Controller (B) [36] and DC-Speed Control Switch [35] in the housing in order of red and white wires. (B)Set [29] (A) feature Internal wire (5) Fit housing units A and B of Housing (A). (B)Set [29] together, and then secure both units in place with eight Tapping Screw (W/Flange) D3 X 16 (Black) [38]. (Be careful to prevent internal wires from being caught between the housing units.) (6) After completing step (5), turn Clutch Dial [4] to confirm that each setting indication "1" to drill mark [ ] can be aligned with the triangle mark on the housing. If the setting indications cannot be aligned with the triangle mark, Clutch Dial [4] or Nut [6] is mounted incorrectly. In such case, correctly mount the part concerned by referring to Item (2) in Section 2, "Reassembling the drive unit." Check the clicking feel generated when you turn Clutch Dial [4]. If no clicking feel can be felt, the click spring is mounted incorrectly. In such case, correctly mount the click spring by referring to Item (3) in Section 2, "Reassembling the drive unit." -18-
