Previous generations of Intel

®

Desktop Boards used an add-in card connector referred to as PCI.

This generation of Intel Desktop Boards adds a new technology for add-in cards:

PCI Express*.

The 32-bit parallel bus previously referred to as PCI is now called PCI Conventional.

1.2 Board Differences

This TPS describes these Intel Desktop Boards: D925XECV2 and D925XEBC2.

The Desktop

Boards are identical with the exception of the items listed in Table 1.
