System Overview Intel® Modular Server System TPS 2. System Overview This section provides an overview of the features of the Intel® Modular Server System MFSYS25/MFSYS35. 2.1 Introduction The platform supports up to six compute modules, up to fourteen hot-swap 2.5-inch SAS hard disk drives in the Intel® Modular Server System MFSYS25, or up to six hot-swap 3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drives in the Intel® Modular Server System MFSYS35, an integrated server management module, redundant Ethernet switches, and redundant storage controllers. The server ships configured for rack mounting, but may be mounted in a pedestal configuration. The following table lists and briefly describes the features of the Intel® Modular Server System MFSYS25/MFSYS35. Table 1.
