7 SETUP/MAINTENANCE • 3G Storm Series® Wheelchairs - i. Remove the battery cover from the ventilator battery tray. ii. Position the battery onto the ventilator battery tray. iii. Connect the ventilator battery wiring harness to the battery. iv. Place the battery cover over the battery. v. Secure the ventilator battery strap around the battery cover and ventilator battery tray and clip together. vi. Connect the ventilator battery harness connector to the ventilator battery harness extension (Detail "A"). • TDX SP Wheelchairs Only - Ensure all three 22NF batteries are installed and that the front 22NF battery wiring harness is connected to the ventilator battery harness connector. Refer to Installing/Removing the Batteries (TDX SP with Vent Tray Option) on page 98. 7. Wheelchairs with Recline Systems Only - Perform the following steps: A. Test the recline function of the seating system to ensure that no part of the back assembly interferes with the ventilator tray. B. If necessary, contact a qualified technician to adjust the recline down limit to avoid interference with the ventilator tray. Wheelchairs -
i.
Remove the battery cover from the ventilator battery tray.
ii.
Position the battery onto the ventilator battery tray.
iii.
Connect the ventilator battery wiring harness to the battery.
iv.
Place the battery cover over the battery.
v.
Secure the ventilator battery strap around the battery cover and ventilator battery tray and clip together.
vi.
Connect the ventilator battery harness connector to the ventilator battery harness extension (Detail “A”).
TDX SP Wheelchairs Only - Ensure all three 22NF batteries are installed and that the front 22NF battery wiring harness is connected to
the ventilator battery harness connector. Refer to Installing/Removing the Batteries (TDX SP with Vent Tray Option)
on page 98.
7.
Wheelchairs with Recline Systems Only - Perform the following steps:
A.
Test the recline function of the seating system to ensure that no part of the back assembly interferes with the ventilator tray.
B.
If necessary, contact a qualified technician to adjust the recline down limit to avoid interference with the ventilator tray.
