Chapter 3 Setting Video Length You can specify a time limit for the videos you take. The Video Length setting is useful if you wish to conserve space in the camera's internal memory or on a Picture Card, or if you want all of your videos to be the same length. 1 Turn the Mode dial to Video , then press the Menu button. 2 Highlight the Video Length menu , then press the Select button. 3 Highlight the setting you want to use. Unlimited (default)-camera records until you stop recording, or until the current storage location is full. 5, 15, or 30 Seconds-camera records for the specified time, or until the current storage location is full. 4 Press Select. 5 Press the Menu button to turn off the menu screen. This setting remains until you change it. NOTE: If the current storage location does not have enough space to record for the specified time, the viewfinder light turns red when you turn off the menu screen. A memory full message appears if you attempt to take a video. See page 84 for how many seconds of video you can store in the camera's internal memory or on Picture Cards. 30
