Open the cover at the indicated location, and then remove the misfed paper. Refer to "When the message "PAPER JAM" appears" on page 7-6. All misfed paper was not removed from inside of the machine. Open the cover at the indicated location, and then remove all misfed paper. Refer to "When the message "PAPER JAM" appears" on page 7-6. ORIGINAL DOC.JAM OPEN DOC.FEED COVER A document misfeed occurred in the document feeder. All misfed paper was not removed from the document feeder. Open the cover at the indicated location, and then remove the misfed paper. Refer to "When the message "ORIGINAL DOC. JAM" appears" on page 7-22. Otherwise, the document feeder is raised. Load a document into the document feeder. REMOVE ORIGINAL IN ADF When interrupting a copy job to perform a different copy operation other than the "BOOK SEPARATION" function, the document for the interrupted copy job was left in the document feeder.
