APPENDIX Failed to open some widgets APPENDIX 172 Misc.-Caption, Language displayed within Widget Yahoo! TV Widgets Problems Was the customer watching HDMI input? I If customer uses HDMI with Simplink is ON, then WIDGETS button blocked. I To use Yahoo! TV Widget watching HDMI input, turn off "Simplink-on" in the OPTION menu. Or change other Input and press the WIDGETS button. Failed to launch Yahoo! TV Widgets Was the customer watching My Media? I If customer uses MY MEDIA, then WIDGETS button blocked. I Exit MY MEDIA by pressing the NETCAST button and select Yahoo! Did the customer see "Starting Yahoo! TV Widgets" remain and TV Widget not displayed? I Press the NETCAST button and then select NETFLIX, press the WIDGETS button to enter Yahoo! TV Widget. This re-starts Yahoo! TV Widgets. Nothing happens when pressing WIDGETS button I Press WIDGETS button and wait a minute, then nothing happens. I Contact Yahoo! help site: http://connectedtv.yahoo.com/help I Turn off TV and Turn on TV, press NETCAST button and then BLUE button, select "Restore Yahoo! Factory Settings" to restore Yahoo! Factory Settings. Is "Loading" message displayed? Check IP Address setting is OK? I If yes, try after "Loading" message disappeared. I If "Loading" message does not disappeared, then delete that widget and re- install it. I If not, connect Network Cable properly and set IP address from menu and try again. Is Connection Unavailable icon (yellow triangle) displayed on snippet? I If connection unavailable icon displayed, try later because some server which widget uses may are under maintenance. If this happens again, contact proper help site displayed on setting panel for each widget or contact Yahoo! help site. http://connectedtv.yahoo.com/help The customer cannot open a widget but all other widget working properly - for example, weather forecast on Weather widget or stock price/fluctuation for finance widget and so on. I Try again later or If the problem still happens, I Delete that widget with following instruction. Press Yellow button from Dock, and then press RED button twice to delete that widget. After deleted, open Widget Gallery and browse to find that widget and select "Add Widget to My Profile" to install that widget and then try again. I If problem still happens, restore Yahoo! Factory Setting by pressing NETCAST button and BLUE button on your remote control. Did the customer change Menu language but Widget did not change its language. I Some Widget does not fully support as much as TV Menu. I The help site for individual widget can be found settings panel of each widget by pressing GREEN button on your remote after open that widget from the Dock.
