Select a Text Input Mode 1. From a screen where you can enter text, touch to change the text input mode. 2. Select one of the following options:  Predictive to enter text by predicting words when you begin typing.  Abc to use multi-touch entry - touch four times for "2". once for "a," twice for "b", three times for "c",  123 to enter numbers by touching the numbers on the keypad.  Symbols to enter symbols.  Emoticon to enter "emoticons."  Smileys to enter smileys. Tip: When entering text, touch to change letter capitalization (Abc > ABC > abc). ABC Mode In Abc mode, also known as multi-touch entry, you touch keys one, two, three, or four times to enter the letters you see on the keypad. For example, touch once for "a," twice for "b", or three times for "c"; or touch "s." once for "p," twice for "q," three times for "r," or four times for 1. Select Abc mode.
