Phone Overview Entering Text With the QWERTY Keyboard Your phone features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, specifically designed for easy and comfortable text entry. The QWERTY keyboard uses the same layout and works just like the keyboard on your computer. The easiest way to enter text is using your thumbs to type on the QWERTY keyboard. Emoticon Key SHIFT Key Function Key Option Keys G Perform the functions indicated by the text on the display immediately above them. SPACE Key BACK Key ENTER Key Function Key: Press one time (while entering text): is displayed on the bottom-right of the screen. This function key allows you to enter the alternate character on the QWERTY key once. Press two times (while entering text): is displayed at the bottom-left of the screen.
