To install a DIMM: 1. Remove the cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 82. 2. You might have to remove an adapter to gain access to the DIMM slots. See "Installing adapters." 3. Locate the DIMM connectors. See "Identifying parts on the system board" on page 83. 4. Open the retaining clips. 5. Make sure the notches in the DIMM align with the tabs on the connector. Push or insert the DIMM straight down into the connector until the retaining clips close. Make
sure
the
notches
in
the
DIMM
align
with
the

Push

the
DIMM
straight
down
into
the
connector
until
the
retaining
clips
close.
