Configuring Phone Service and Voice Mail Configuring Third-Party ISDN Gateways (Optional) 5 Configuring Third-Party ISDN Gateways (Optional) Optionally, you can connect an ISDN gateway to your SPA9000 Voice System to provide access to ISDN phone services, typically via one or multiple Basic Rate Interface (BRI) access. Each ISDN gateway occupies one SIP Line, similar to the SPA400.
