5 Playing Discs ENTER SET UP Introduction • Many of the functions covered in this chapter apply to DVD discs, Video CDs, Super Audio CDs and CDs, although the exact operation of some varies slightly with the kind of disc loaded. • When playing DVD discs, if the icon appears on-screen when you try to use a particular function, either the player or the disc doesn't allow the use of that function. Using the Function Menu 1 Press the SET UP button during playback. 2 Use the cursor buttons (5/∞) to highlight Function, then press the cursor button (3) or ENTER button. 3 The Function selection screen appears, showing Information, Zoom, Bookmark, and Repeat. • Information (see page 19) • Zoom (see page 27) • Bookmark (see page 24) • Repeat (see page 23) 4 Use the cursor buttons (5/∞) to highlight one of the 4 functions.
