B Using the DHCP Server Feature A DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Server automatically assigns IP address to computers within a set range. Use the feature if you wish to manually configure the IP address assignment range for your network. Activate the DHCP Server 1. Select DHCP from the Basic menu. 2. Select Yes to activate the DHCP Server. 3. Enter a number for the Starting Local Address field. 4. Enter the number of CPE's. 5. Click Apply. computers within a set range. Use the feature if you wish to manually configure the IP
address assignment range for your network.
Activate the DHCP Server
1.
Select
DHCP
from the
Basic
menu.
2.
Select
Yes
to activate the
DHCP Server
.
3.
Enter a number for the
Starting Local Address
field.

Enter the number of
CPE’s
.
5.
Click
Apply
