CHAPTER 4 Linux-Using the Graphics to Video Out Control Panel Detecting the External Sync Signal Source The software should automatically detect the external sync signal. When it does, the sync format information appears in the Input Video Format text box. If you have both SDI and Composite signals connected - • The software automatically chooses the SDI signal. • If you want to switch to the composite signal, click the Sync Format list arrow and then click COMP Sync. If the software fails to automatically detect the signal - • If the software loses the external sync signal or does not detect it automatically, click Detect to force detection of the sync signal. • For composite signals, if the software is unable to automatically detect the correct signal type-either bi-level or tri-level- click the Sync Format list arrow and then click the COMP option corresponding to your sync source. The software should automatically detect the external sync signal. When it does, the sync
format information appears in the
