The Front Panel The modem router front panel shown below contains status LEDs. 1 2 3 4 Figure 2 You can use the LEDs to verify various conditions. Table 1 describes each LED. Table 1. LED Descriptions Label 1) Power Activity Solid Green Off Red Blink (Red) Factory Reset Solid Green 2) Ethernet Blink (Green) Off Description Power on. Power off. POST (Power On Self Test), failure (not bootable), or device malfunction. Firmware upgrade in progress. Lights red momentarily while the reset button is depressed, then blinks red three times when the reset button is released, then turns green, and finally the modem resets to factory defaults. Powered device connected to the associated port. The LAN port is operating. Data is being transmitted or received. No link is detected on this port.
