GS700TP Smart Switch Software Administration Manual 2. Select the community entry. 3. Enter the Management Station and Community String in the provided fields in the first row. 4. Select the Access Mode from the list in the provided field in the first row. 5. Click Apply to update the device. To add a new SNMP community: 1. Click System > SNMP > SNMPv1/v2 > Community Configuration. The Community Configuration screen displays. 2. Enter the Management Station and Community String in the provided fields in the first row. 3. Select the Access Mode from the list in the provided field in the first row. 4. Click Add to update the device. To remove an SNMP community: 1. Click System > SNMP > SNMPv1/v2 > Community Configuration. The Community Configuration screen displays. 2. Select the entry to be removed. 3. Click Delete to remove the entry. Trap Configuration The SNMPv1/v2 Trap Configuration screen contains information for defining filters that determine whether traps are sent to specific users, and the trap type sent.
