User Manual for the NETGEAR 7300 Series Layer 3 Managed Switch Software Mode Global Config no snmp-server community mode This command deactivates an SNMP community. If the community is disabled, no SNMP requests using this community are accepted. In this case the SNMP manager associated with this community cannot manage the switch until the Status is changed back to Enable. Format Mode no snmp-server community mode Global Config snmp-server community ro This command restricts access to switch information. The access mode is read-only (also called public). Format Mode snmp-server community ro Global Config snmp-server community rw This command restricts access to switch information. The access mode is read/write (also called private). Format Mode snmp-server community rw Global Config snmp-server enable traps This command enables the Authentication Flag. Default Format Mode Enabled snmp-server enable traps Global Config no snmp-server enable traps This command disables the Authentication Flag.
