Simultaneous use of S-AF mode and MF mode (S-AF+MF) This function allows you to fine-adjust focus manually by turning the focus ring after AF is performed in the S-AF mode. When the shutter button is not pressed, MF operation is available. • You can fine-adjust the focus with the focus ring if you have pressed the shutter button halfway and AF is confirmed. You can also fine-adjust the focus with the focus ring when the shutter button is not pressed halfway. x Notes • If the shutter button is pressed again after fine-adjusting focus with the focus ring, the AF is activated and your adjustments are canceled. This function allows you to fine-adjust focus manually by turning the focus ring after AF is
performed in the S-AF mode. When the shutter button is not pressed, MF operation is
available.
You can fine-adjust the focus with the focus ring if you have pressed the shutter button halfway
and AF is confirmed. You can also fine-adjust the focus with the focus ring when the shutter
button is not pressed halfway.
Simultaneous use of C-AF mode and MF mode (C-AF+MF)
Focus with the focus ring and press the shutter button halfway to activate C-AF mode.
While the shutter button is kept pressed, MF mode is not activated.
When the shutter button is not pressed, MF mode is available.

Another way to adjust focus manually in C-AF mode:
