Gradation In addition to the [NORMAL] gradation setting, you can select from 2 other gradation settings. HIGH KEY (H) : Extended bright gradations. LOW KEY (L) : Extended dark gradations. MENU[Z][SHADING COMP.] [OFF]/[ON] x Notes • This function is not available when a teleconverter or an extension tube is attached to the camera. • At higher ISO settings, noise in image edges may be conspicuous. Noise reduction This function reduces the noise that is generated during long exposures. When shooting night scenes, shutter speeds are slower and noise tends to appear in images. When the shutter speed is slow, noise reduction is activated and the camera automatically reduces noise to produce clearer images. However, shooting time is approximately twice as long as usual.
