To turn this feature on, select "Caller ID auto". To turn this feature off, select "Manual". (Caller ID subscribers only) To use this feature, set the date and time first (page 12). *4 Ringer volume cannot be turned off for alarm, intercom calls, and paging. *5 If you subscribe to a distinctive ring service (such as IDENTA-RING), select a tone (tone 1 to 5). If you select a melody, you cannot distinguish lines by their ringers. *6 If you select one of the melody ringer tones, the ringer tone continues to play for several seconds even if the caller has already hung up. Contact your PBX supplier if necessary. The setting should stay at "700 ms" unless pressing {FLASH} fails to pick up the waiting call. *11Generally, the line mode setting should not be changed. This setting automatically maintains receiver volume at the proper level depending on the current telephone line condition.
