Playback/Deleting/Editing Playing Back Images Q Playback button 2 1 3 Playing Back Still Pictures Press the Q Playback button. Refer to "Playing Back Images" (p.28) for instructions. Playback/Deleting/Editing Zoom Display You can display images magnified up to 12 times. A guide to operation 6 appears on the LCD monitor during magnification. 1 Enter the Playback mode and use the four-way controller (45) to choose the image to magnify. 2 Press x/y on the Zoom/f/y x1.8 button. The image is magnified (1× to 12×). Holding down the button changes the magnification continuously. The following operations can be performed while the magnified image is displayed. Four-way controller (2345) Moves the position to be magnified Zoom/f/y button (x) Makes the image bigger Zoom/f/y button (w) Makes the image smaller DISPLAY button Turns the guide marks on/off 3 Press the MENU button. Zoom playback ends. • Moving pictures cannot be magnified. • Pressing the Q Playback button does not change the mode to the Capture mode when the camera is turned on in Playback Only mode. Turn the camera off, then turn it on again. 82
