Set-up Format Sound Date Adjust World Time Language/ Folder Name English Standard MENU Exit Adjusting the Brightness of the LCD Monitor You can adjust the brightness of the LCD monitor by seven levels. 1 Select [Brightness Level] on the [B Set-up] menu. 2 Use the four-way controller (45) to adjust the brightness. Moving the slider leftwards makes the LCD monitor darker and moving rightwards makes it brighter. 3 Press the Q Playback button. The camera is ready to play back images. Settings Setting Power Saving By setting the LCD monitor to dim automatically when you leave the 7 camera without performing any operations for a certain period, you can lessen battery drain. When Power Saving takes effect and the LCD monitor dims, press any button to return to the ordinary brightness. 1 Select [Power Saving] on the [B Set-up] menu. 2 Press the four-way controller (5). The pull-down menu appears. 3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [2 min], [1 min], [30 sec], [15 sec], [5 sec] or [Off]. 4 Press the Q Playback button. The camera is ready to play back images. The Power Saving function will not work in the following conditions. • In Playback mode • When the USB cable is connected • While taking movies 163

Settings
You can adjust the brightness of the LCD monitor by seven levels.
