Initial Settings Section 19 Initial Settings Mixing navigation voice/AVGVDP1 beep and audio sound Mixing navigation voice/beep and audio sound When there is a navigation guidance, you can mix the guidance voice/beep sound from a Pioneer navigation unit with the audio sound from this system. You can select either mixing both the guidance voice and the beep sound or the guidance voice only. ! You can operate this function only when a Pioneer navigation unit is connected to this unit. ! When the multi-channel processor (e.g., DEQ-P8000) is connected to this unit, you cannot use this function. ! We recommend that you select GUIDE to ensure quality sound. 1 Touch NEXT on the initial menu. 2 Touch NAVI MIX to switch the mixing of navigation voice/beep. Touching NAVI MIX will switch the mixing of navigation betweent ALL (mixing both guidance voice and beep) and GUIDE (mixing guidance voice only). Mixing AVG-VDP1 beep and audio sound When connecting the AVG-VDP1 to this unit, a beep sound is occasionally outputted from the AVG-VDP1. To ensure the quality audio sound from this unit, set this function to GUIDE to properly mix the beep sound and the audio sound. ! You can operate this function only when a Pioneer Vehicle Dynamics Processor (AVGVDP1) is connected to this unit. ! When the multi-channel processor (e.g., DEQ-P8000) is connected to this unit, you cannot use this function. ! We recommend that you select GUIDE to ensure quality sound. 1 Touch NEXT on the initial menu. 2 Touch NAVI MIX to switch the mixing of AVG-VDP1 beep. Touching NAVI MIX switches the mixing settings between ALL (mixing all the time) and GUIDE (mixing when a beep sound is outputted). Resetting the audio functions You can reset all audio functions except volume. ! Only when the multi-channel processor (e.g., DEQ-P8000) is connected to this unit, you can operate this function. 1 Touch NEXT on the initial menu. 2 Touch RESET. 3 Touch RESET. 4 Touch RESET again to reset audio functions. # To cancel resetting the audio functions, touch CANCEL. When there is a navigation guidance, you can
mix the guidance voice/beep sound from a
Pioneer navigation unit with the audio sound
from this system. You can select either mixing
both the guidance voice and the beep sound
