Settings are based on the FM tuner volume level, which remains unchanged. 1 Compare the FM tuner volume level with the level of the source you wish to adjust. 2 Use Multi-Control to select SLA. SLA appears in the display. 3 Push Multi-Control up or down to adjust the source volume. Each pushing Multi-Control up or down increases or decreases the source volume. SLA +4  SLA 4 is displayed as the source volume is increased or decreased. 2 Press Multi-Control to turn ASL on. Mid appears in the display. # To turn ASL off, press Multi-Control again. 3 Push Multi-Control left or right to select the desired ASL level. Using automatic sound levelizer During driving, noise in the car changes according to the driving speed and road conditions. The automatic sound levelizer (ASL) monitors such varying noise and automatically increases the volume level, if this noise becomes greater. Using automatic sound
levelizer
During driving, noise in the car changes ac-
cording to the driving speed and road condi-
tions. The automatic sound levelizer (ASL)
monitors such varying noise and automati-
cally increases the volume level, if this noise
becomes greater. The sensitivity (variation of
volume level to noise level) of ASL can be set
to one of five levels.
