Drying a load of laundry Using the Child Lock function The Child Lock function allows you to lock the buttons so that the dry cycle you've chosen can't be changed. Child Lock is a function to prevent children or the infirm from accidently operating the dryer CAUTION and injuring themselves. If a child enters the dryer, the child may become trapped and suffocate. WARNING Although the Child Lock function is activated, you must keep an eye on children so that CAUTION they do not operate your dryer. Activating Follow the steps below to activate the Child Lock function. • Hold down The Child Lock button ( ) for 3 seconds. Then, The Child Lock Function is activated with pop-up "Child Lock ON", and the button changes from ( ) to ( ). Deactivating Follow the steps below to deactivate the Child Lock function. • Hold down The Child Lock button ( ) for 3 seconds. The Child Lock Function is deactivated with pop-up "Child Lock Off", and the button changes from ( ) to ( ). When the Child Lock function is activated, only the Child Lock button works. The Child Lock function remains on even after you turn the power off and back on or disconnect and then reconnect the power cord. To add laundry when the Child Lock function is activated, you have to first pause or CAUTION deactivate the Child Lock function. When the Child Lock function is activated, the screen does not change visually (no dimming or greying out). Using the Child Lock function
The Child Lock function allows you to lock the buttons so that the dry cycle you’ve chosen
can’t be changed.
Child Lock is a function to prevent children or the infirm from accidently operating the dryer
and injuring themselves.
If a child enters the dryer, the child may become trapped and suffocate.
Although the Child Lock function is activated, you must keep an eye on children so that
they do not operate your dryer.
Activating
Follow the steps below to activate the Child Lock function.
Hold down The
Child Lock
button (
) for 3 seconds. Then, The Child Lock Function is
activated with pop-up “Child Lock ON”, and the button changes from (

Deactivating
Follow the steps below to deactivate the Child Lock function.
