02 DRYING A LOAD OF LAUNDRY USING THE RACK DRY 1. Open the dryer door. 2. Position the drying rack in the tumbler, placing the front lip of the drying rack on the top of the lint filter. 3. Place the rear legs in the two recessed areas of the dryer's back wall and push the middle of the drying rack down to fix it in place. 4. Place the items to be dried on the rack, leaving space between them so air can circulate. 5. Close the dryer door. 6. Tap the Time Dry button in the Cycle pane of the Cycle Selection screen. Note that the Rack Dry option is only available in the Time Dry cycle. 7. Tap the Extras section in the Option pane. 8. Tap the Rack Dry button in the Extras section. 9. Select the time according to the moisture and weight of the item. 10. Tap the OK button to apply the changes. 11. Press the Start/Pause button to start drying. To dry items made from materials that are vulnerable to heat such as foam rubber, plastic WARNING and rubber, use the Air Fluff cycle. If you dry these kinds of items by applying heat, the product may be damaged or a fire may occur as a result. Never use the drying rack with any cycle other than the Rack Dry cycle. WARNING CHECKING THE FILTER Checking the filter The filter check notification pops up before the cycle you've set begins, reminding you to check the dryer's filter. Cleaning the filter Clean the filter to shorten drying time and operate the dryer with greater energy efficiency. Do not operate your dryer without the filter in place.
